Mannsverk has signed for Molde

Both Molde and Sogndal confirm on their websites that they have sold Sivert Mannsverk to Molde. You have signed a contract that runs until 2025.

QUALITY: Sivert Mannsverk could have already been in the Elite Series if Sogndal were promoted last year. They were unsuccessful as they lost in the qualifying final against Mjøndalen. Here since qualifying against Ranheim in December last year.

Sivert Mannsverk, as VG has already reported, will become a player of the Molde. This is confirmed by both Molde and Sogndal on their websites.

The young midfielder has long been on the wish list of various clubs. The 19-year-old has more than 50 appearances for Sogndal and has also captained Eirik Bakke’s team in the OBOS league.

On Wednesday, Molde released a short video clip of a ferry arriving in Molde with an emoji of a pair of eyes. VG has so far failed to get in touch with Molde manager Ole Erik Stavrum, but on the club’s website, Stavrum is excited after Mannsverk’s signing.

– It’s a great day for Molde Football Club! We are very happy to have Sivert in his place. He is an exciting player who we have followed since he was 15 years old. Now the moment was good, so we are very happy to have the signing in the area, says Ole Erik Stavrum in press releases.

Mannsverk also thanks his time at Sogndal to the one who is now from the old club website.

The 19-year-old is not ready to play until August 1. Therefore, he hopes to make his debut for Molde in Sunday’s cup match against Hødd.

– The idea is that I will participate in training on Saturday. In the meantime, I cheer on the team in the second leg against Servette on Thursday. If things go well there, a trip to Turkey and a meeting with Trabzonspor await you in a week. Fantastic, it can’t get any better than that, the 19-year-old tells Rbnett.

Mannsverk can replace midfielder Fredrik Aursnes, who is linked to several clubs. Aursnes’ contract expires after the season and he is free to negotiate with other clubs.

You already have the top scorer Ohi Omoijuanfo signed for Red Star. He stays free after the season unless Molde accepts a transfer with the Serbian club in this transfer window.

While the international transfer window is open, Norwegian clubs cannot register new players before August 1.

Key players like Eirik Hestad and Andreas Linde also have contracts that expire after the season.
