The citizen consultation on the Low Emission Zone of Lyon Métropole opened on September 3 will continue until February 5. The next workshop will take place on Wednesday 24 November on the theme: what aids to get around differently? This consultation session is done online on the jeparticipe.grandlyon.com platform and registrations for this consultation workshop are already open.
These workshops or the public meetings already organized by the Metropolis arouse a lot of questions and creativity among the inhabitants who participate in them. During the last general public workshop on October 19, no less than 280 solutions for getting around differently were offered! The public information meeting on September 20 was attended by around 100 people and was the subject of nearly a thousand views in 1000 post-viewings.
On the jeparticipe.grandlyon.com platform: 4 300 questionnaires have already been completed, and 370 contributions deposited.
In addition to public meetings and workshops, the Métropole de Lyon teams are increasing their number of meetings in the field. They went to discuss with the inhabitants in 13 municipalities of the territory: in Lyon (7 mobile meetings), Saint-Germain-au-Mont d’Or, Meyzieu, Saint-Genis-Laval, Dardilly, Rochetaillée-sur-Saône, Rillieux- la-Pape, Oullins, Vénissieux, Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie, Saint Priest, Saint Fons and Givors. Other meetings are planned throughout the territory throughout the month of December and January.
At the same time, the citizens’ panel formed to produce an opinion on the extension of the ZFE and its perimeter is continuing its work. At the end of 6 sessions of hearings and discussions, it will deliver its conclusions on December 14th.
