Miscellaneous facts. Ultra-right: 13 activists of the “Recolonization” movement were arrested

Thirteen activists belonging to the ultra-right movement “Recolonization” were arrested Tuesday by the gendarmes of the Central Office for the fight against crimes against humanity, according to BFMTV.

These arrests took place “throughout France”, even if these operations were carried out on rogatory commission from an investigating judge in Marseille. BFMTV ensures that they “took place in Île-de-France and in the south of France”.

During the searches, weapons were discovered “everywhere”. Most were legally detained.

The thirteen activists were taken into custody.

The “Recolonization” group, close to the survivalist movement, which calls for the constitution of armed groups, has been the subject of surveillance by the General Directorate of Internal Security since the summer of 2020.
