Coronavirus – Two Omicron variant contaminations confirmed in Germany

(Belga) Two cases of contamination with the Omicron variant have been observed in Germany, the Bavarian Minister of Health confirmed on Saturday.

Regional Minister Kai Klose said earlier today that the Omicron variant was “in all likelihood already present in Germany.” This new variant of the coronavirus, detected for the first time Thursday in South Africa, is considered “worrying” by the WHO. Two cases were also detected in the United Kingdom and one in Belgium. (Belga)
