The school planes were exactly the same. Both went into uncontrolled spin and crashed to the ground during exercises.

A plane crash in Västerås in Sweden in January 2016 may have similarities to Tuesday’s school plane crash near Larvik, which claimed three lives.

An instructor and two students died when a Diamond DA-42 NG Twin Star from the Norwegian flight school Pilot Flight Academy crashed on Tuesday.

In January 2016, an aircraft of the exact same type was involved in an accident in Sweden. The similarities may seem to be several. A Norwegian instructor and two Norwegian students miraculously survived the crash.
