Vaccination in France: three million reminder appointments made since Thursday, according to Olivier Véran

A dazzling recall campaign launch. Nearly three million Covid-19 vaccination appointments have been made since the announcement on Thursday, November 25 of the extension of the recall campaign to the entire adult population, Olivier Véran said on Saturday on Twitter.

“This Saturday, the booster vaccination opens to everyone from 18 years old,” the Minister of Health recalled on Twitter. Adding that “19 million of us are already eligible and (…) 3 million appointments have been made since Thursday”.

Before Thursday, the recall only concerned people over 65, people at risk of severe form and caregivers. To date, more than 6 million people in France have received a booster dose, most often a third injection.
