The 2021-2022 Biathlon World Cup opens, this Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 November, with a 1st stage in Östersund (Sweden), where an individual (women and men) and a sprint (women and men) are on the program. . Here is the full program.
On the tracks of the Swedish National Biathlon Arena, the Habs will be well armed. On the men’s side, Quentin Fillon-Maillet, who has finished third in the world three times in recent years, will headline the Blues well supported by Emilien Jacquelin, who is returning from an injury. Simon Desthieux, Fabien Claude and Antonin Guigonnat will also be on hand to counter the Norwegian armada led, among others, by Johannes Thingnes Boe, Tarjei Boe, Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen and Johannes Dale.
Among the women, hopes will be turned to Anaïs Chevalier and Anaïs Bescond who, for their last Olympic season, will be keen to achieve a full season.
