Marched past the press after the disappointment – but there are positive signs for the 22-year-old

LILLEHAMMER (Aftenposten): Kristine Stavås Skistad showed signs of the speed that made her famous. But she still has a job to do to get back to where she was.

Kristine Stavås Skistad had both good and less good moments in Friday’s World Cup sprint in Lillehammer.

She got into cross-country skiing with a bang. Kristine Stavås Skistad was the teenager who was close to shocking the sprint stars in the 2018/2019 World Cup season. Not only was she fast, the Konnerud runner was also offensive on the outside.

In the Seefeld WC that winter, she showed good enough speed to win a medal. It did not happen. A fall on the run in the semifinals ensured that the sprintess had to wipe away the tears of disappointment.
