Will call district in Oslo “Oslo Science City”. It is against the law, the Language Council believes.

Calling the area “Oslo Science City” is against the law, according to the Language Council. They do not understand what an innovation district requires, the UiO rector answers.

Oslo Science City is called the district. And in a recent report, it is recommended that Forskningsparken Metro Station also changes its name. “Oslo Science City station” is the proposal. The English names make more people stumble.
