Fast & Furious 10: Dwayne Johnson is furious with Vin Diesel

In an interview with the American site CNN, Dwayne Johnson publicly criticized Vin Diesel for his behavior after the former wrestler refused to participate in the filming of “Fast & Furious 10”.

The Jungle Cruise star refers directly to the message Vin Diesel posted on Instagram last November, in which he implored him to reprise the role of Lucas Hobbs in the next installment of the Fast & Furious saga. “The whole world is waiting for the Fast 10 finale. As you know my kids call you Uncle Dwayne at home. No vacation goes by without sending your best wishes… but the time has come. History awaits. I told you several years ago that I was going to honor my promise to Pablo (in reference to Paul Walker, editor’s note). I had promised him to reach and reserve the best for the Grand Final of Fast which will be the 10e», Could we read at the time.

A message that obviously ulcerated Dwayne Johnson. According to the latter, he and Vin Diesel had previously agreed in private that he would not return for the 10e opus of the saga. Reading this message posted on social networks, and its content, did not please the actor at all.

“I had told him personally that I would not be coming back. I was firm and cordial in my words, and made it clear that I would always support the cast and wish the franchise all the success it deserves, but that there was no way I would return. », He begins in his interview with CNN. “The message posted by Vin is an example of his manipulation. I did not appreciate that he involved his children in the story, nor the death of Paul Walker. Leave them out of this. We talked about this several months ago and had come to a clear decision, ”continues Dwayne Johnson.

If he regrets that all this is found in the public square, the actor – who joined the saga in 2011 for the 5e opus – however wished to reiterate its support to all those who work for the franchise. And affirms not to doubt for a moment the continuity of the success. “I really wish all the players and all the teams the best of luck and a lot of success for the future,” he says.
