Vedum promised that the fees would go down. Now they go up.

Before the election, Trygve Slagsvold Vedum promised that the total tax level would go down. January 1 it goes up.

Minister of Finance Trygve Slagsvold Vedum (Sp) went to the polls to reduce the total tax level. From January 1, it goes up.

From the New Year onwards, the tax level in Norway will increase. This is in direct conflict with SP leader Trygve Slagsvold Vedum’s promise to the voters in the election campaign.

In a series of interviews, Vedum assured that the total tax level would go down.
