Consumption. Toys: spinning top launcher recalled for risk of eye damage

Be careful, if you offered or your child received this toy for Christmas, be careful. Several retail chains throughout France are currently recalling a spinning top launcher from the “SPINNER MAD” brand.

The “Advanced single shot blaster” toy does indeed present a risk of injury.
“If the beam is directed into the eyes, this can cause blood vessels to coagulate which will result in a significant drop in central vision, whether temporary or permanent”, explains the government website, Recall conso.

Returned products will be refunded

All products of this model marketed between February 4, 2021 and September 1, 2021, of batch 357BOL, are therefore affected by the recall. They were sold in the following brands: Leclerc, Carrefour, JouéClub, Amazon, Picwictoys, La Grande Récré and King Jouet.

If you are in possession of this toy, it is recommended that you no longer use it. You have until March 5, 2022 to return it to the store, where it will be refunded to you.
