The agreement has not been announced at the time of writing, but according to VG’s information, the 31-year-old has decided to stay in Bodø.
Pellegrino kom to Bodø / Glimt from Damac FC in August. It happened just months after he joined the club in Saudi Arabia after ravaging Kristiansund in the Elite Series in the 2020 season. The contract with Damac was terminated after two goals in 12 games.
– It feels good. Glimt is a good team, there are good training facilities and good sessions. Now I have participated in a normal session, there is good quality in the group and the pulse feels good, Pellegrino said when the transition became known.
VG has not been able to get a comment from Amahl Pellegrino or his agent, Atta Aneke.
Neither «team manager» Håvard Sakariassen nor general manager Frode Thomassen in Bodø / Glimt have responded to VG’s inquiries.
