Developments in women’s cross-country skiing are a cause for concern. This also applies to all the male coaches.
Since 2001, Svein Tore Samdal, Egil Kristiansen, Roar Hjelmeset, Geir Endre Rogn, Ole Morten Iversen and Ola Vigen Hattestad have been head coaches for Norwegian women. Assistant coaches have been men. The coaches for the recruiting national teams have been the same.
And above them there have been male leaders.
