The evening quickly turned sour in Romans-sur-Isère (Drôme). While this mother of two was on her way to her ex-husband’s house, an argument broke out on Sunday around 8:30 p.m. reported Le Dauphiné Libéré.
Drunk, the man went out, armed with a saber, to take revenge by degrading the vehicle of his former companion… except that he took the wrong car.
It was that of four young people that was targeted: the windshield was totally destroyed.
The ex-husband in custody
Faced with this gruesome situation, the victims called the man to account. A fight broke out, the two children got involved and one of them even broke a salad bowl on the head of one of the people attacking his father.
The police, who arrived on the spot, put an end to the fight, placing the ex-husband in police custody. The children were summoned to the police station the next day to be heard.
