It is with great sadness that we learned of the disappearance of one of our colleagues, assigned to the BRIF within the DRPJ, who took his own life. The @prefpolice is united and sends its most moved thoughts to its family and to all of its colleagues. pic.twitter.com/fctPnKKKea

The third suicide in a week
This is the third suicide of a police officer since Thursday and the death of a 23-year-old policewoman in Lille as well as that of a 22-year-old civil servant who worked at Kremlin-Bicêtre.
Since the start of 2022, five police officers have taken their own lives. To deal with this scourge, the Ministry of the Interior has set up a help line available for civil servants who are victims of attacks or threats.
A psychological cell is also open 24 hours a day on 0805 230 405.
