Rugby: a player from Rouen found dead, the thesis of suicide favored

Jordan Michallet, opener for Rouen, died at the age of 29, the Norman rugby club announced on Tuesday.

“The Rouen Normandy Rugby family is deeply saddened to announce the death of our dear Jordan Michallet, thus posted the formation of Pro D2 on Facebook. This terrible news plunges the whole club into immense grief.

According to information from Paris-Normandy, the Isérois was found at the foot of a building under construction… a few minutes after a car accident. A witness, who saw the fall of the rugby player from the fourth floor, warned the police. While waiting for their arrival, a student tried a cardiac massage, supplemented by the police, in vain.

The opening half, who had already scored 157 points in 16 games, had also worn the jersey of Grenoble, Bourgoin then Strasbourg. In November, Jordan Michallet, former French international in U18, extended his contract with the Rouen club until 2025.
