Norway reaches the peak of infection in 1-2 weeks. This is how it will go afterwards.

Infection rates have been rising slowly and are likely to decline slowly as well. This is bad news for one group in particular.

The number of infected has increased since December, when this photo was taken at a mobile test station at Majorstuen in Oslo.

On Wednesday, 15,987 people were registered with coronary heart disease in Norway. The Omikron variant constantly sets new records. The National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) we believe will reach the peak of infection at the turn of the month January / February.

But what really happens when we reach a peak of infection? And what will happen afterwards? We asked some questions to FHI and other experts. There’s a lot they do not know for sure. But this is what we have learned.
