This Zodiac Sign Is The Smartest According To A Study

Aries are independent, Scorpios very loyal, Virgos are organized people… But which is the smartest zodiac sign? British researchers conducted the investigation.

Before establishing a ranking, the authors of this study, published by the website GoCompare, have analyzed the signs of more than 900 Nobel Prize winners, in all fields, since its inception in 1901. These prizes are awarded each year to people “who have brought the greatest benefit to humanity”.

Gemini, Libra, Virgo…

And according to their research, it is people born under the sign of Gemini, that is to say between May 22 and June 21, who are “the most intelligent”. In total, 97 natives of this sign received a Nobel Prize between 1901 and 2019. Among them, Bob Dylan, Nobel Prize for Literature in 2016, or Betty Williams, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1976.

On the second step of the podium, we find Libras (93 Nobel Prize winners), who were born between September 23 and October 22, then Virgos, who climb to third place in the ranking. No less than 88 people born between August 23 and September 22 were rewarded, including Irène Joliot-Curie, the daughter of Pierre and Marie Curie, who won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1935.

The natives of the sign of Cancer are, for their part, ranked fourth (81 Nobel Prizes). They are followed by Aries (76 Nobel Prizes), Taurus (73 Nobel Prizes), Sagittarius (71 Nobel Prizes), Pisces (66 Nobel Prizes), and Aquarius (65 Nobel Prizes).

Bad news, however, for the Lions, who come second to last in the ranking of the most intelligent signs, tied with the Scorpions. Finally, in last place, we find the Capricorns, from December 22 to January 20, who received only 58 Nobel Prizes.

But that the last of the classification do not formalize. These results are of course to be put into perspective, astrology not being a science, and the methodology used can be questioned. Indeed, the Nobel Prizes do not necessarily reward the most “intelligent” people, intelligence itself being a concept with vague contours.
