The world’s big cities are trying to take seven-mile steps, but national authorities are slowing down on their way into the green shift.
The size of the cities is possibly different. But both Los Angeles and Oslo are struggling with environmental challenges. Some of them are completely identical.
That is why the cities are members of the C40. It is a global network of 97 cities working to promote sustainability. The organization was founded in 2005. London’s mayor, Sadiq Khan, was elected the network’s new leader at the Glasgow climate conference last year.
