Throughout the year, the Center Pompidou offers a fun and creative program for young people up to 16 years old. From February 19 to March 7, for the Parisian winter holidays, the program becomes daily. Here are the proposed activities.
A unique card game
the Museum national d’art moderne is launching a card game for visiting families. By following the principle of the game “Action or truth “, families with children from 6 years old explore the works by identifying challenges, the statement said. For the purchase of a Family Pack, a set of cards is offered at the ticket office.
A new program at Studio 13/16
Le Studio 13/16, epace dedicated to youth, proposes involving young people in the process of reflection and of creation in areas that affect them particularly. An exhibition-workshop by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac
After JR, Claude Closky, Françoise Pétrovitch or even Yaakov religion, it is the turn of Jean-Charles de Castelbajac to be invited by the Center Pompidou to design an exhibition-workshop dedicated to children from 4 years old. “In my childhood drawings, I summarized or condensais month ismotions by signs or symbols: sadness by a rainy cloud, the reward by a crown, the gift by a hand, creating thus a universal sign language (…) In thinking of the Children’s Gallery, imposed at me the idea of staging an installation of a world of signs for the people of tomorrow who are the children of today. ” The exhibition − “The People of Tomorrow” workshop offers nine activities designed by the artist around these notions and this imagination, until May 9th.
Two visits to dedicated exhibitions
Two exhibitions offer routes dedicated to children. The visit Tribe « Charles Ray » (Starting from 7 years old) in relation to to discover the major temporary exhibitions at the Center Pompidou, every Sunday at 16h, from 20 February and until June 19, 2022. The Cozy visit, for its part, offers an approach to the works of the Center Pompidou collection for babies from 0 to 2 years old (Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 16h30, 17h15, 17h30 and 18h15, until July 2, 2022).
Family workshops around recycling
Workshops take place every day during school holidays, at from 19 February and until April 10, 2022. The first, “Recycling is an art: objects to reinvent » (for 6-10 year olds) proposes to sort everyday objects to to create Objects recomposed and imagine new uses. The “Recycling is an art” workshop: the manufacture of objects divert for the little ones (2-5 years), proposes to recycle in gestures creative. An introduction to new technologies
At La Fabrique, every day during school holidays, children aged 9 to 12 design and manufacture as a team, meeting plastic means and new technologies. (cutting lasers, 3D printers, etc.). For this new session with Marion Seignan, participants use the casein (the protein milk) and bio-dyes. Family sessions are organized on Sunday afternoons.
An online web series
