They discovered a mysterious space object. No astronomer has seen this before.

Astronomers in Australia have discovered something completely unusual. An object that releases a giant eruption of energy three times an hour.

Scientists are working to map radio waves in the universe. They think it could be a neutron star or a white dwarf star. A white dwarf is a small and dense star in the final stages of the star’s evolution. Both of these have extremely strong magnetic fields.

The object is located in our galaxy, the Milky Way. It emits a beam of radioactive radiation as it spins around space. In one minute for every 20 minutes that pass, this beam is one of the most powerful sources of radio sources in the sky.
