The EU’s climate plan will affect the whole of society. A new report has concluded that it may lead to a higher fuel price.

For decades, politicians have been discussing climate and environmental policy. Critics say there is too much talk and too little action. Others are concerned about the consequences the measures will have for people’s lives.

Still, something is about to happen. The EU’s climate plan, Green deal, is in full swing. The first goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 55 percent by 2030, ie in eight years.
