A typing error, an imprecise description and a corona-sick mayor: This is how the “critical” municipalities respond

Four municipalities reported critical access to personnel and expertise last week. But the situation was not so dramatic.

A slightly hoarse mayor in Vennesla municipality in Agder answers the phone. Both he and his wife have been infected with coronary heart disease. At first it was a little headache and fever, now the 63-year-old experiences it as a cold.

– Today I am so healthy that I could go to work, says mayor Nils OIav Larsen (KrF).
