Paris: an impressive fire breaks out near the Beauharnais hotel

The winter sky of Paris pierced by immense flames. An impressive fire broke out this Sunday February 6 at the end of the afternoon near the Beauharnais hotel, located at 78 rue de Lille (Paris 7th).

The building, which serves as the residence of the German ambassadors to France, is located in the immediate vicinity of the Musée d’Orsay.

Quickly, Internet users relayed videos on social networks showing the extent of the disaster.

According to Point, who revealed the information, the fire reportedly broke out on scaffolding erected in the immediate vicinity of the Beauharnais hotel.

Firefighters were on the scene in the late afternoon to try to put out the flames.

Around 7:30 p.m., we did not know if, and to what extent, this private mansion, as well as its courtyard and its garden, among the most prestigious in Paris, were affected.

Still, according to several Internet users, it could be that the fire was rather declared at the Hôtel de Seignelay. This other private mansion, located at 80 rue de Lille, has been under construction for several months.
