A union in all discretion. François Hollande and Julie Gayet “married privately” last weekend, the town hall of Tulle, in Corrèze, told the newspaper La Montagne. It was the mayor of the town and friend of the former President of the Republic, Bernard Combes, who carried out their civil union.

At 67, this is the first marriage of François Hollande, father of 4 children he had with his former partner Ségolène Royal.
The city of Tulle has become a real stronghold for the former head of state. Former deputy and president of the Departmental Council, François Hollande bought a house there with Julie Gayet in 2018.
