Robert De Niro's 19-year-old grandson Leandro died.
Leandro's mother Drena, was adopted by the Hollywood star in 1976.
The 51-year-old posted a photo of the adolescent with a touching statement but did not reveal her son's cause of death.

You were my heart, joy, and everything pure and real in my life.
I wish we were together. I miss you." The actress continued.
I don’t know how to live without you but I’ll try to go on & spread the love & light that you so made me feel in getting to be your mama.
"I wish love had saved you. Sorry @carlosmare, my baby. My lovely boy, rest in eternal paradise.
"Drena don't tell me it's true tell me you're joking because I can't believe Leo isn’t with us anymore," a pal said.
It's awful. I love you, Drena. The filmmaker replied: "I know I still hope this is a nightmare and I’ll wake up tomorrow."
Rosie Perez expressed her condolences: "Shocked! So sorry! We support you!!! I adore you!"
"Drena, I’m so deeply sorry," said Lana Parrilla. Sending much love, prayers, & strength.
