Israel's University of Negev showed that a Mediterranean diet rich in vegetables, seafood, & whole grains can prevent obesity-related brain aging with as little as 1% body weight decrease, according to Science Alert. 

The study found nutrition reduced brain aging by nine months. 102 participants were brain-scanned before changing their lives.

Brain scans, liver function, cholesterol, & BMI were assessed after 18 months. 

Instead of red meat, some individuals ate nuts, fish, & poultry on a Mediterranean diet. Blood biomarkers, fat percentage,
