The Les Fruits de Mer association has published “Super Saint-Martin! », A new unique bilingual activity book, which invites young people to explore and celebrate the nature and heritage of the island of Saint-Martin.

This book features over a hundred pages of discovery and fun, complete with mazes, word games, coloring pages, creative writing activities, and much more. The book presents more than 150 plants and animals that can be seen in Saint-Martin, some of which can only be found here and nowhere else in the world!

“We hope that the youth, and families of Saint Martin, will truly enjoy this book, during the holiday season and beyond,” said author Jenn Yerkes. “It is important that young people have books in their place of life. Imagine doing a word game with local names for birds, making up short stories about the nocturnal creatures of this island, imagining a new type of insect, or creating a beautiful floral pattern for a traditional dress! “

Mark Yokoyama, co-founder of the Les Fruits de Mer association adds, “Each activity is in English and French, so the book can also be an excellent tool for learning languages”.

One hundred free copies of “Super St. Martin!” Were offered to Amuseum Naturalis in December and will also be offered in January 2022 thanks to the sponsor, Delta Petroleum.

As a reminder, Amuseum Naturalis aims to highlight the nature and heritage of Saint-Martin.
