CAN 2022: a spectator gauge set up during the competition

A few days before the start of CAN 2022, the African Confederation indicated that there would be two types of gauges in the Cameroonian stadiums.

As the party approaches (January 9-February 6), CAF recalled that the Covid-19 pandemic was still present and that health restrictions would be put in place.

Thus, the African Federation indicated that “on a voluntary basis, and in addition to the preventive measures already adopted, namely vaccination and compulsory tests for any supporter who wants to enter a stadium, the following gauges are applied until further notice : 80% of the stadium capacity during matches of the Cameroon team, 60% of the stadium capacity during matches of other teams. “

At home, the Indomitable Lions will have the chance to play in a stadium with more spectators. Cameroon launches its victory mission against Burkina Faso, Sunday January 9.
