Halo: the series adapted from the video game unveils a breathtaking new trailer (VIDEO)

Just a few weeks after the release of the “Halo Infinite” video game, it’s Paramount+’s turn to unveil a new trailer for the series adaptation of one of the most famous franchises in the gaming world.

Led by Kyle Killen (Awake) and Steven Kane (The Last Ship), produced by Amblin Television, Steven Spielberg’s production company, the 10 episodes of season 1 of Halo – which will be broadcast on March 24 – base its plot on the storyline of the very first game in the saga, “Halo – Combat Evolved”. The American streaming platform hopes to seduce both die-hard fans and those who are totally foreign to the world of this video game sold in millions of copies around the world.

Comedian Pablo Schreiber will play the role of Spartan John-117, alias Master Chief, a member of the army made up of genetically modified super-soldiers equipped with the latest advanced technologies, granting them superhuman abilities, and who are in charge of defending the Earth against the Covenant.

The trailer allows in particular to discover the actress Natascha McElhone in the role of doctor Halsey, who is at the origin of the creation of the Spartans (the name given to the soldiers, note). We also discover Jen Taylor in the guise of Cortana, the artificial intelligence who acts as an adviser to Master Chief, whom she also embodies in the saga on console.

It should be noted that the Halo series will ultimately benefit from its own temporality, and intends to stand out as the world of video games progresses in order to ensure writers complete creative freedom, but also to allow the franchise to continue its evolution on console without having to worry about the television series. If ever this one was prolonged in time.

No television channel or streaming platform has come forward in France about the broadcast of Halo.
