Boris Johnson defended himself with a cruel attack. Now it strikes back.

Several of Boris Johnson’s closest associates are leaving him. The controversial statement about an abuse scandal now strikes back at him.

It has gone from bad to worse for Boris Johnson this week. It started with the investigation of the parties in 10 Downing Street. Johnson and his people received scathing criticism for the parties they had during the shutdown.

On Thursday, four of his closest employees left the same office. On Friday, Sky News reported that another employee was on his way out. Especially the dismissal of one of them, Munira Mirza (43), attracts attention. The reason was political explosives.
