A man was slightly injured this Tuesday, June 7, after the collapse of a section of wall on a construction site located at the corner of Defrance and Clément Vienot streets in Vincennes, in Val-de-Marne (94). An investigation has been opened.

An open investigation
The collapse did not cause any casualties among the children of the nursery and the school located nearby. All children and staff were evacuated after the incident.
For now, the circumstances of the collapse of the wall are unknown. An investigation for “endangering the lives of others” and “unintentional injuries” was opened by the public prosecutor Stéphane Hardouin.
On Twitter, the mayor of Vincennes, Charlotte Libert-Albanel welcomed the “mobilization of all, and particularly of course that of the firefighters and the police forces, as well as the municipal teams”. She also announced the establishment of a psychological unit.
