The music festival is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Here are ten events to make the most of this evening event in Paris.

The ritual continues this year. France Inter is organizing an evening for the music festival, with lives unique and stage exclusives. On the program for this year: “Franz Ferdinand, who chose France Inter listeners to celebrate his 20-year career, Pomme and Benjamin Biolay who will offer the first of their new titles live before the release of their next album”. The Australians of Plots as well as the singer Angèle will be closing this evening.

An open air at the Petit Bain around electronic music

Fans of electronic music will be delighted with the programming of Petit Bain. Indeed, the place will organize a free open air during the day, transformed into a club afterwards. Six DJ sets and live will be organized on the terrace for the open air, while the club will take place in the room, until 6 am.

A concert evening, blind testing and quiz at the Point Ephemere

The music festival resumes (finally!) this year at Point Éphémère. In the program : concerts, dj sets, one blind giant test, a quiz special as well as takeover of Venus Club!

A Belle Époque evening in a restaurant

The restaurant Chez Julien gives us an appointment this Tuesday, June 21, 2022, heading to the Paris of the Belle Époque! The Fanfare Au Carreau, led by Fidel Fourneyronwill play the pieces of his repertoire in front of the Carreau du Temple to celebrate the music festival. The performance will take place in the pedestrian street Eugène Spüller. Twice a month, the brass band brings together around fifty amateur musicians and/or musicians in training.

An immersive and free experience around the Polytope of Xenakis

A little new to close this special music festival selection. L’Ircam offers an immersive and free experience around the Polytope of Cluny by Iannis Xenakis. behind this name mysterious finds an immersive experience, sound and visual, designed by composer, architect and mathematician Iannis Xenakis.

The show, created 50 years ago at the thermal baths of Cluny, “dived the spectator in a hurricane of lights and electronic music thanks to a spatialized soundtrack, to the crackling of flashes, or even to the figures drawn by the rays of lasers and reflected by hundreds of mirrors». A reconstruction will be proposed for this evening of June 21.
